GIU Awards Doctor of Philosophy to HRM Queen Eden Soriano Trinidad


Global Interfaith University (GIU) is pleased announce the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in General Management to HRM Queen Eden Soriano Trinidad. The award was presented on December 27, 2024. HRM Queen Eden Soriano Trinidad, is a Poet, Educator, International Humanitarian and Peace Leader and hails from the Philippines.

 

HRM Eden Soriano Trinidad is a notable torchbearer of peace and humanity, widely recognized as the replica of a poetic soul and a true beauty within the realm of social networking. Her profound love for poems and a peaceful life based on cultural harmony, transcending caste, creed, and color, has earned her admiration from academics and cultural think tanks alike. She is the President of Chinese Poetry Spring festival branch in the Philippines, Vice President of Silk Road Poetry in China, and adviser of several Chinese literary organizations in China, and Honorary President of Poetas Intergalacticos in Ecuador. 


Her poetic journey has been studded with numerous accolades and awards. Notably, in 2023, she was honored with the “Exhibition Award” at the First Silk Road International Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala, where 34 foreign poets participated. In 2022, she was the proud winner of the Naji Naaman International Literary Prize and appointed as the Naji Naaman EXTRAORDINARY AMBASSADOR OF GRATIS CULTURE. Additionally, she secured victory in the 8th Chinese Poetry Spring Festival in Beijing in the same year. She is the only Filipino Poet guest and a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award in the 12th Guntur International Poetry Festival and Poetry on Wheels held in Guntur, Andra, Pradesh and Hyderabad, India September 18-23, 2019.  She has authored the series poetry collection titled “Eden Blooms” which contains her primary poems, translated, published and printed in Telugu, Serbian, Chinese, Hindi and other languages. Her latest book titled “108 Poetry Collections”, has been recently published in the Philippines, and in several international publishing houses. 


Beyond her poetic achievements, Queen Eden is committed to humanitarian causes, actively participating in students’ poetry festivals for World Peace and being recognized at international humanitarian conferences for her contributions. She founded her own poetry organization named “Unity World Peace Poet” (UNWPP) and established the poetry group “Poets of Birland,” dedicated to the emerging country of Birland in the African continent.
